There's a few blog discussing about, what's friends. Here is my point of view.

A true friend to me doesn't mean that he/she must be there when I'm down, but to understand the reason for me to feel down. Which means that he/she must understand what I'm thinking and know what kind of person i am.

.

A friendly "hi" or "bye" from anyone, i would consider them as a friend of mine.

.

Friends come and go. Just like a kite.When you pull it too tight, it will snap. If you let it loose, it will drift away from you.

.

"When its time to let go, why should i hold on to it?" I have to put this on repeat mode in my brain.

.

Anyway, in terms of good/best friends, its just our own ways of categorizing friends. I realised that I've somehow lost faith in good/best friends. I would just categorise my friends in 2 simple groups, friends and better friends. Although i don't list a best friend group now, but i love every single one of my friends! Be it my kinder garden playmates, primary school buddies, secondary school besties or even my future poly friends, I'll always remember that you had played a role in my life. Just remember one thing, a friend or a best friend, the choice is yours. But when a friendship is ending, letting go is the smartest choice of all.
